How to Use AI Video Cut

Using AI Video Cut is straightforward and user-friendly. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to make the most of the service.

Step 1: Login or Sign Up

Visit the AI Video Cut website on your desktop or mobile.
Click the Sign in button at the top right corner of the screen.
Click either Sign in with Google or Sign in with Facebook. These methods provide a secure way to access your account.

Step 2: Upload Your Video

AI Video Cut allows you to upload videos in two different ways:

From Local Files

Locate the Upload file button on the dashboard.
Click the button, and a file dialog will open. Choose the video file you want to cut.

💡The platform supports various formats and recommends keeping the video length under 30 minutes for free users or up to 3 hours for premium users. Keep the file size to a maximum of 2GB per upload, regardless of your subscription status.

From YouTube

Paste a YouTube link into the URL field. The link must direct to a YouTube video rather than a playlist or channel. Please make sure the video is publicly available and age-appropriate.
Click the Submit button to add the video and start editing.

Step 3: Adjust the Editing Settings

Once your video is uploaded, you can select your preferences:

Specify the desired Clip length. Decide how long you want your final clip(s) to be.
Select the Aspect ratio supported by the target social media platform.
Pick the Video type. Expand the drop-down menu and pick one of the following options:
- “Trailer” to create a summarized video featuring the most catchy phrases.
- “Topic clips” to generate multiple videos based on the main topics of your video.
- “Instruction” to create a short, viral-ready tutorial clip from your DIY video.
- “Features overview” to provide an overview of product features in a single video.
- “Positive highlights” to highlight the positive aspects of the main topic in a single video.
- “Negative highlights” to present the negative aspects of the main topic in a single video.
Add captions. Make sure the switch located within the Captions section is on. After that, select one of the caption styles that you like best.

Step 4: Select Language Settings

By default, the Speech language settings are set to Auto, which enables automatic recognition.

If the language in your video is less common, you have the option to select the preferred language from the list. Manual selection improves transcription accuracy and ensures the editing features work effectively.

Step 5: Finalize and Export

Once you’ve selected the settings, click the Submit button.
Click the video in the list. After that, you can preview the video to ensure it meets your expectations.
If you would like to change the prompt, captions, or other settings, click the Regenerate button. You will be taken back to the initial settings selection screen. You won’t have to upload/link the original video again.

💡Video regeneration is unlimited in AI Video Cut. You can regenerate your project as many times as you need.

Once you’re happy with the results, click the Download button under the video to save it to your device.
